Zigor Island-Pride Wars Era

Zigor Island.
The birthplace of two world empires.

Two Milleniums before the First Pride War, this island was home to a fierce and powerful City-State, the Kingdom of Abbadon. This city and its region only saw one race as superior and true rulers of the world, the sabretooth race. They first conquered the whole island, enslaving the other races that coexisted with them and claiming their cities and lands as their own.
Their drive for power spread to other shores, allying themselves with any sabretooth tribe they came across and decimating and enslaving the other species like a living plague.
By the time they were finished, the banner of Abbadon had set over two thirds of the known world.
For close to a thousand years Abbadon ruled, but grew overconfident and apathetic in its comfortable place of power.
984 years after the Empire began, the many races it enslaved began to revolt, destroying the kingdom from within and without.
The Sabretooth race was forced nearly to extinction, with only traces of their barbaric culture left on the conquerors memories
The combined alliance of pantherian races that dethroned the emperors, replaced them as rulers of Zigor, and brought forth the new Zigorian Empire.
Zigoria was a lesser image of its predeccessor, with the tiger race replacing the image of the sabretooth.
The K'zers were a long running bloodline of warriors, and soon wrested power over the other clans, ruling as emperors and empresses ever since.

Cities/Locations:

K'zeria-
Capitol of the empire. Where the empirial council meets.

K'zer's fortress-
The home palace of the K'zer ruler.
(K'zer is loosely derived from caesar, czar, and kaiser)

Abbadon Ruins-
The ruined remains of the old empire's capitol
(derived from the hebrew word for 'Destroyer')

Makara-
A desolate desert city, home of Tradition priests that work at the temple.

Temple of Orion-
A chief site in The Tradition religion. Orion ironically is the patron of Zigor and the founder of the Orionite Cult.

MT. Golem City- the reverse image of Makara, it is one of many places where the grand masters of the Cult dwell, worship, and train their 'disciples'. This is the focal point of the entire cult.

Aceldama-
a city built on the final battlefield in the fall of Abbadon.
(named after the field Judas Iscariot purchased with his blood money)

Torvado-
The only city on Zigor dedicated to The Old Faith.
It is this city that our secondary hero, Yo'ayi Rigelius is born in.

Beth-Ariyel-
A city built by a Zigorian general
(it means house of the lion of God)
