The Evil Fruits of Conditional Security
To be blunt about it, conditional security is simply works-salvation veiled as "grace." Contrary to the plethora of Bible "teachers" who rail against eternal security, the alternative bears no good fruit. The fruit that comes from conditional security is rotten, and works against Christians who seek to walk after the Spirit, and not after the flesh. As we'll see, believing you could lose your salvation leads to nothing more than a "show of flesh." It is man-centered, sight-centered, and compromises the work of Christ on our behalf. I’ve met people that say if you can’t speak in tongues it means you don’t have the Holy Spirit. And if you get baptized and you don’t acquire the gift it’s because you don’t have enough faith.
And sadly some people even leave the church because they think they don’t have enough faith, as they can’t speak in tongues.
